Revise: Traditional Timber JointsA timber joint connects components and keeps them in the position required by the design. A picture-frame corner, a cupboard shelf and a drawer front all need connections, but they face different demands. The frame needs neat corners; the shelf needs support; the drawer front must withstand repeated pulling.
