Heat-setting

Heat-setting uses controlled heat to stabilise thermoplastic synthetic textiles. Manufacturing can leave internal stresses that would otherwise cause later dimensional changes. Heat-setting helps the fabric retain its intended dimensions and can also fix features such as pleats.
