Revise: Chemical, Physical, Biological and Smart Textile FinishesDesizing removes size, such as starch used to strengthen warp yarns during weaving. Removing it allows the fabric to absorb subsequent dyes and finishes more evenly. Although desizing appears in the specification's physical-treatment list, removal can use washing, dilute acids or enzymes.
