E-textile

E-textiles, or electronic textiles, have circuits and electronic components integrated into the fabric. Conductive fibres or threads carry electrical current and connect components, performing a similar job to wires while remaining part of a flexible textile. Batteries, lights, sensors and small electronic processors can be incorporated into garments.
