Revise: IDE Tools and FacilitiesThe four common tools are an editor, error diagnostics, a run-time environment and a translator. They work together: the editor is used to write the instructions, the translator makes those instructions executable, the run-time environment runs them, and error diagnostics help investigate problems.
When describing an IDE tool, name it and explain how it helps the programmer: for example, an editor allows source code to be entered and changed.
If asked for two tools, choose two distinct tools. Syntax highlighting and automatic indentation are both editor facilities.
