Revise: Binary Image RepresentationA bitmap image represents a picture as a grid of tiny picture elements called pixels. Each pixel has one specific colour. The arrangement of these coloured pixels forms the picture: neighbouring pixels might all have the same colour to create a background, while contrasting colours form shapes and edges.
