Revise: Blood Glucose ControlThe pancreas monitors and controls blood glucose concentration. When the concentration is too high, it releases the hormone insulin into the blood. The blood carries insulin to the cells on which it acts.
For insulin control, link the pancreas, insulin release, glucose uptake by cells and conversion of excess glucose to glycogen in liver and muscle cells.
