Revise: RomeOnce the offering had been judged acceptable, the entrails were cooked and offered to the god. In sacrifices to heavenly gods, they were burnt on the altar with wine and more mola salsa. Offerings to underworld deities and the spirits of the dead were placed on the ground instead.
