Revise: Waste Water TreatmentSewage and agricultural waste water contain organic matter and may contain harmful microbes. Industrial waste water may contain organic matter and harmful chemicals, so its precise treatment depends on the contaminants present. Sewage treatment combines physical separation with biological processes.
Do not claim that treated sewage effluent is automatically potable. Treatment makes it suitable for release, while producing drinking water requires further treatment and checks.
