Revise: Business Legal StructuresHaving another partner does not provide the protection enjoyed by shareholders in a limited company. A partner’s business decisions can also bind the other partners, so partners need to consider both the business’s risks and the people with whom they are sharing responsibility.

Limited liability protects shareholders’ personal assets; it does not mean that the company has no debts or that shareholders cannot lose their investment.
Explain consequences rather than listing features: additional shareholders can provide finance, but existing owners may lose some control.
A stakeholder is not necessarily a shareholder: a shareholder owns shares, whereas a stakeholder can be anyone who affects or is affected by the business.
