Revise: Characteristics of a binomial distributionA binomial distribution describes the number of successes in a fixed number of repeated trials. A trial is one repetition of an experiment, and a success is simply the outcome we choose to count. “Success” does not necessarily mean something good: a faulty item could count as a success if faults are what we are investigating.
