Immigration

Immigration has contributed to ethnic diversity in the UK, bringing a wider range of family traditions. However, families within any ethnic group vary: shared ethnicity does not mean that everyone has the same beliefs, relationships or family structure. Ethnic diversity and family diversity are related, but they describe different things—one concerns ethnic groups, the other family arrangements.
