A survey asking people resident in households in England and Wales about their experiences of crime, including experiences not reported to the police.

Two important sources are police-recorded crime and the Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW). Police-recorded crime counts offences reported to and logged by the police. The CSEW asks people aged 16 and over living in households about their experiences of crime, including incidents they did not report.
