Revise: Divine PresenceThe Israelites also built the Tabernacle, a portable sanctuary which could travel with them. Exodus describes a cloud covering the Tent of Meeting after it was completed, showing God’s presence dwelling among the people. The connection between the cloud and the sanctuary helped express both guidance and continuing closeness to God.
When asked to refer to sacred writings or another source of Jewish teaching, connect the reference to your explanation: for example, the cloud over the Tabernacle shows God dwelling among the Israelites.
