The presence of the divine within the world or within living beings.
Revise: Features of the DivineThis feature expresses divine immanence: the divine is present within the world. It also connects with the belief that every living being has an atman, or inner self. Some Hindus understand these individual selves as part of the one divine reality.

Revise: The Nature of AllahImmanence means Allah is near to and active within creation. Allah knows people's needs, thoughts and actions, and Muslims believe they can turn directly to Allah in prayer. The Qur'anic description of Allah as closer to a person than their jugular vein expresses this nearness.
