Sahaj

GGS 125 states: ‘Without the Guru, no one attains celestial peace’. This peace is sahaj, a condition of spiritual poise. The importance of becoming Gurmukh is therefore not simply that it produces better behaviour: it brings a person into a deeper relationship with God and releases them from the inward disturbance caused by ego and attachment.
