Revise: Abrahamic CovenantAbraham is regarded as the first Jewish patriarch, or founding father. The covenant begins with God calling him to leave his home and trust God’s guidance. In Genesis 12 he is called Abram; Genesis 17 later records his name being changed to Abraham.
