Paper 1
Revise: Abrahamic CovenantThese promises help explain the Jewish understanding of being God’s chosen people. This means having a special relationship with God, accompanied by responsibilities, rather than being more valuable than other people. Abraham’s example encourages faithfulness to God and living in ways that benefit others.
Do not describe being God’s chosen people as being superior to others. Connect it to a special relationship with God and responsibilities.
