Oneness

Sikh ethics connects right conduct with truthful living: living in a way that recognises the Oneness of existence. There is one divine source of all existence, rather than completely separate kinds of people with different fundamental worth. Applied to criminal justice, this provides a reason to take an offender’s humanity seriously while also recognising the harm suffered by victims.
