Holi

Diwali and Holi are widely celebrated Hindu festivals. Both express the victory of good over evil, but their stories, seasons and customs differ. Hinduism is diverse, so the same festival can have different meanings for different families and traditions, including those living in Great Britain.

Holi is an annual Hindu spring festival, often called the festival of colours. It occurs around February or March, at the full moon of the Hindu month of Phalguna. Its traditions connect joyful celebration with religious ideas about goodness and devotion.
