Muhammad’s Al-Mi‘raj: Islamic tradition places Muhammad’s miraculous ascension through the heavens around 621 CE. Muslims understand this as showing Allah’s power to act beyond ordinary physical limitations and Muhammad’s special relationship with him as a messenger.
