Debrief

A debrief afterwards should explain the true purpose, reveal and explain any deception, allow questions and check whether participants are distressed. It should also explain any opportunity to withdraw their data and provide contact details or support where appropriate. Debriefing helps address deception, but it cannot undo every possible harm.
