Revise: HypothesesAn alternative hypothesis predicts a pattern in the findings: either a difference between conditions or groups, or a correlation between two variables. It states that the researcher expects a difference or relationship to be found.
Keep the same variables and measurements when turning an alternative hypothesis into its matching null hypothesis.
