Revise: PAG 1: MaterialsWater readings are taken at eye level from the bottom of the curved surface, called the meniscus.
Describe how readings are made accurately: zero the instrument, place a measuring cylinder on a level surface and read the bottom of the water meniscus at eye level.
Read the bottom of the water meniscus at eye level. For an irregular solid, subtract the initial water reading from the final reading.
