Revise: PAG 2: ForcesIf a spring has been loaded beyond its elastic limit, it will not return to its original length when the load is removed, so its earlier measurements should not be assumed to apply.
Do not treat the limit of proportionality and the elastic limit as interchangeable: one concerns graph shape, while the other concerns whether the object returns to its original length.
