Revise: Ray diagrams constructionThe construction follows the law of reflection: the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection. Both angles are measured from the normal, not from the reflecting surface. The incident ray, normal and reflected ray all lie in the same two-dimensional plane.
For reflection, place the reflected ray on the other side of the normal and make the angle of reflection equal to the angle of incidence.
At a plane mirror, draw the normal at the exact point where the incident ray meets the mirror, then make the angle of reflection equal to the angle of incidence.
