Revise: Location of major bonesThe hand and foot have a useful matching pattern: carpals → metacarpals → finger phalanges, and tarsals → metatarsals → toe phalanges. Phalanges therefore names bones in both fingers and toes, not just in the hands.
Check where a label line ends. Carpals are at the wrist; metacarpals are in the palm; phalanges are in the fingers. The equivalent foot sequence is tarsals, metatarsals, then phalanges.
