Revise: Types of feedbackFeedback is information about their performance. It helps them recognise successful actions to repeat and errors to correct. It can also affect their confidence and motivation to keep practising.
For a box-format model, label all four stages and use arrows to show the sequence and the feedback loop.
When applying the model to a sporting skill, identify the actual information received, the decision made, the muscular action and the feedback. Naming the stages alone does not explain the example.
Classify feedback by its source: the performer's own sensations are intrinsic; comments from a coach or teammate are extrinsic.
