Visual hierarchy

Across the bottom, the campaign headline appears in enormous white capitals against a dark background. Its scale and strong contrast establish a visual hierarchy: the campaign matters more than the smaller political story or detailed editorial copy. The condensed, bold lettering allows a short message to fill a large area and gives it the force of a public appeal.
