Curved surface

Definition

A bent, rather than flat, part of the surface of a 3D shape.

Some solids also have curved surfaces. In the convention used here, a curved surface is not counted as a face. An edge is a straight line segment where two flat faces meet, while a vertex is a corner where edges meet.
