State excluded values when simplifying an algebraic fraction; cancellation does not make an originally undefined value valid.
When dividing by an algebraic fraction, multiply by its reciprocal and check that the original divisor is not zero.
When dividing by an algebraic fraction, change division to multiplication by the reciprocal before cancelling factors.
