Young Pioneers

The Young Pioneers organised children’s activities outside ordinary lessons and helped explain political campaigns. Children were expected to participate, rather than simply learn about government policies. This extended political education beyond the classroom and encouraged young people to identify with a national socialist project as well as their families.
