Revise: Invasion of WalesThe Treaty of Aberconwy, November 1277, left him only western Gwynedd, although he retained the title Prince of Wales. Eastern Gwynedd was divided between Edward and Dafydd, and Llywelyn lost authority over other Welsh territories. Edward had greatly reduced his rival’s power, but native princely rule survived.
