Revise: Migration History: Patterns, Trends and Case StudiesA pattern is a recurring feature across examples. A trend is a general direction of development over time. Finding several examples of migrants contributing to trade establishes a recurring pattern; it does not, by itself, prove that their economic contribution steadily increased.
