Palestinian National Authority

The Palestinian National Authority, also known as the Palestinian Authority, was the governing body created through the Oslo process. It was distinct from the PLO: the PLO represented Palestinian national aspirations, whereas the new Authority would administer areas transferred to Palestinian self-government.
