Revise: Policies Towards WomenMother’s Cross awards were presented from 1939: bronze for four or five children, silver for six or seven, and gold for eight or more. These awards made motherhood a publicly honoured contribution to the Nazi state. They were intended to give large families status as well as encourage others to have more children.
