An approach to international relations based on countries cooperating through shared organisations, rules and agreements.
Revise: Post-WWI Settlements and the League of NationsInternationalism worked best when countries were willing to accept a common solution. It was much less reliable when an aggressor resisted and other powers would not act together. Versailles and the League created a framework for peace, but neither removed the competing national interests that threatened it.
