Caesarion

Cleopatra and Caesar’s son, Ptolemy Caesar, usually called Caesarion, was probably born in June 47 BC. His birth gave their relationship a dynastic significance: it connected Cleopatra’s royal family personally with the Roman leader who had helped secure her throne.
