Specification 5.1.1, 1.6 · Component 2, Component 3
The extent to which evidence supports the conclusion being drawn from it.
Revise: Evidence for Climate ChangeThe validity of evidence depends on the question. A diary may be useful for identifying a severe winter in one town, but much less useful for establishing a change in global average temperature. Consider how far back a record extends, which places it represents, how it was produced and whether independent evidence supports it.
- Revise: Evaluating the Enquiry Process
