Used by AQA and OCR
Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3
An answer to an enquiry question, or a judgement about a hypothesis, supported by the investigation’s findings.
Revise: Conclusions and Evaluation of the EnquiryAfter collecting, presenting and analysing evidence, the conclusion brings the investigation back to that starting point.
A final answer to a question, justified by the evidence and reasoning presented.
Support conclusions with specific evidence from your results, including relevant figures, locations and exceptions.
Develop evaluation points: explain how a problem affected the data and therefore confidence in the conclusion.
Make your conclusion a justified judgement, not just a summary or an unsupported personal opinion.
