Paper 2
Revise: Walking AwayThe poem consists of four five-line stanzas, or quintains, each following an ABACA rhyme scheme. In the first stanza, ‘day’, ‘play’ and ‘away’ rhyme, while ‘turning’ and ‘satellite’ have separate sounds. This repeated pattern provides order around the father's difficult feelings and may suggest his effort to contain and understand them.
