Revise: Origin StoryIn Origin Story, Eve L Ewing’s speaker recalls her parents as young people, describes how they met, and considers their relationship through the image of a comic book. Their love does not last, but the poem refuses to treat this as making it worthless. Its central distinction is between lasting forever and leaving something valuable behind.
