Revise: Lord and Lady CapuletCapulet also tells Paris, “My will to her consent is but a part;” in Act 1 Scene 2. Here, “will” means his wish or decision, while “consent” means Juliet’s agreement. He appears to recognise that his approval alone is insufficient: Paris must win Juliet’s affection.
