Paper 2
A narrative viewpoint in which the narrator speaks as ‘I’ or ‘we’, presenting events through their own experience.
A first-person viewpoint usually suits this kind of task because it lets you connect what you noticed with what you thought and felt. Autobiographical writing draws on your own life, but an imagined first-person experience can also work when it answers the task convincingly. You do not need to disclose a distressing personal experience to write effectively.
