Revise: Drawing and Interpreting GraphsA bar chart makes their frequencies easy to compare; a pie chart shows each category's share of the total. Joining these categories with a line would suggest a continuous sequence that does not exist. Also consider readability: a pie chart with many tiny sectors may communicate less clearly than a bar chart.
