Revise: Communication of design ideasA perspective drawing gives a more realistic impression of depth: distant features appear smaller, and receding parallel edges converge towards vanishing points on a horizon line. It is useful when helping a client imagine a product’s appearance, but apparent lengths change with depth, so it is not a substitute for dimensioned manufacturing views.
