Revise: Non-Ferrous MetalsAluminium has good machinability, so it can be cut and shaped into components using machine tools. However, low weight does not automatically mean that it is the strongest choice. For the same-sized part, common aluminium alloys can have lower strength than carbon steel, and aluminium generally costs more.
