Revise: Fabrication and Assembly MethodsDraping means positioning and pinning fabric on a dress form to develop a three-dimensional garment shape. Designers commonly use inexpensive muslin to explore the design before cutting the final fabric. Draping can produce a basic pattern or allow a design to develop directly on the form, for both custom-made and mass-produced garments.
