Revise: Assembling ComponentsA cam lock uses a rotating cam and a mating bolt. The bolt projects from one component into the other; turning the cam grips the bolt and draws the components together. Reversing the cam releases the connection.
Include a relevant disadvantage when comparing options: cam locks need accurate predrilled holes and can damage the board if overtightened.
