Revise: Common Prevention MethodsPenetration testing is an authorised, simulated attack on a system. An organisation gives testers permission to attempt attacks in a controlled way, so they can discover vulnerabilities before malicious attackers exploit them.
Penetration testing identifies vulnerabilities. Explain that the organisation must then fix the weaknesses found.
